Terra - 15 Amazing Aerial Photos and Images
Agricultural, urban, forest, desert, snow, covered with water or flowers – are all surfaces of Earth, the planet billions of chips, which surprises us every time we look at it. Magnificent in its huge diversity, diversity that we have increased it by many and varied changes that we made our cosmic home – with consequences of rigor, of course – Terra remains, for us, today’s level of knowledge, a planet in the universe unparalleled. Despite repeated notices by the discovery of a celestial body “Earth-like” nothing that we know so far leads us to be confident that somewhere there may be from the most primitive unicellular creatures up to higher vertebrates, all beings have shaped Earth, making it as it is today. The dynamics of this vital process is reflected in every aspect of the planet.
Forest … Even from this height you can see how diverse it is: a mixture of species of trees, conifers and deciduous, living together in harmony and resisting, as a whole, because of these differences, which consolidates all and give power.
By contrast, monotonous uniformity of crops can be maintained only with difficulty, and the image plane blurring everything in a cloud of pesticides makes it clear what price we have to pay for such artificial “perfection”.
Terrestrial Geometry: cultivated fields of this region in Turkey remember coloring of old Turkish carpets, with their mixture of colors, rich but refreshing eye. Man’s Contributions: coloured carpets, rigorously drawn with a ruler, Dutch flower crops, concrete and glass jungle of big cities vertical cut ribbons of asphalt roads that deep and lasting change landscape …
Intervention … but milder, making accessible landscape to man without violence: a long wooden bridge that crosses the Plitvice Lakes National Park (Croatia), including a paradise with waterfalls, trees and lakes, leaving our species after passing through life of the planet …
